Widespread Anti-American War Protests all over DK

On 18th October, in a village of Takilod, Indravati area of Maad Division, a large Rally took place. This was organised by the Indravati Area Party Committee in which two LGSs and all the mass organisations participated. One reporter of the Raipur based Daily Dainik Bhasker was also invited to this rally. At least 7,000 people, including many women and schoolchildren, came from at least 25 villages, participated in this rally. First a huge procession took place in which people took banners and placards and raised slogans in protest against America. Meanwhile, the local fighters of the PGA Base Force provided the security arrangements. Dozens of fighters armed with traditional weapons like bows-arrows and country-guns, intensively patroled around the area and maintained many sentry posts, so that any attempt to attack the meeting by the enemy could be resisted.

Later the rally was transformed in a big public meeting in the evening. Com. Rajman, Secretary of the Indravati Area Committee, addressed the gathering. In his speech, he strongly condemned the US attack on Afghanistan. He told the people that US itself is responsible for 11th September attacks.
