One
doesn’t know the real hand behind the mysterious bomb blasts throughout the
country — specifically those that occur in localities of the poor. One also
cannot get proof to prove the hand behind numerous mysterious massacres. But
what one does know is that the intelligence agencies and the criminal outfits
like the Iekwans, greyhounds, Bajrang Dals etc., are actively involved in sowing
discord amongst communities, tribes, regions etc., to dissipate movements
against the government’s bankrupt rule and drown them in their own blood,
through internecine strife.
But
the events of Chittisingpora which was whipped up into a national event by, not
only the rulers, but also Clinton; is now proved beyond doubt to be the
handiwork of government intelligence. Even the DNA reports of the so-called
militants killed by the army, as those responsible for the massacre, are not
being presented.
Surprisingly, inspite of evidence to the contrary, (see earlier issues) the
media carries on its mantra of blaming militants for the carnage. In
Chittisinghpora itself one of the Sikh widows asks "Why did the security forces
pick up innocent people and kill them as militants ?" Relatives of the victim
say that Mohammed Wagha who was picked up the next day, denies involvement in
the killings. They add, "every militant or sympathiser when caught, they parade
him before the media .... why did they black-out on Wagha ?"
Besides, two reports, have shown the hand of the Iekwans, which have a large
presence in the adjoining areas. Both the reports, of an investigation led by
Justice (retd.) A.B. Baines, and that by the IHRO (International Human Rights
Organisation) blame the Iekwans for the massacre. In fact the former Chief
Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice Mufti Farooqi, who was part
of the IHRO investigations, said "the motive behind the mass killings of Sikhs
.... and the circumstantial evidence available with us go to show that the real
culprits may not be the freedom fighters, but the renegades and their masters
who cover and cordon them." Yet, for the public at large, the culprits are still
the Kashmiri militants; as, in Goebellian style, a lie repeated hundreds of
times, is seen as the truth. Suddenly, after six months, the government is
trying to produce new evidence by getting two muslims to take the blame. What
then about the earlier ‘culprits’ whom they killed ? One wonders who is
responsible for many of the other massacres taking place in the country !!
