We, the undersigned
Marxist-Leninist-Maoist parties, hereby express our militant solidarity with all
the organizations and masses participating in the protest actions throughout the
world against US and British invasion and occupation of Iraq on Global Day of
Action, March 20.
We urge all our Party
cadres and members and the masses of workers, peasants, women, youth,
professionals and other sectors under our leadership or influence to take
initiative and cooperate with other forces in arousing and mobilizing the
greatest possible number of people.
It is absolutely
clear that the US-British war of aggression launched against Iraq on March 20,
2003 was motivated by imperialist greed for the oil and other natural resources
of Iraq and the Middle East, by the strategic aim to establish US military bases
at the very center of the Middle East and by the overweening arrogance of US
imperialism to impose further its hegemony over the entire world.
We condemn the wanton
destruction of Iraqi lives and property by the US and British imperialists.
These are the real terrorists of the biggest magnitude. We likewise condemn the
lies spewed out by the aforesaid imperialists and their puppets, such as that
Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was an imminent threat, in order to
justify a barbaric "preventive" war of aggression.
We support the Iraqi
people in their resistance against the US and British invaders and occupiers and
against the attempts of these to put up a puppet government and use the United
Nations to cover up all the crimes of aggression and robbing the Iraqi people of
their natural and social wealth.
The US and other
imperialists must withdraw immediately from Iraq. The most effective way for the
Iraqi people to compel them to withdraw is to inflict heavy casualties on them
and to prevent them from profitably using the oil resources and pipelines. In
this regard, the people of world provide firm support to the people of Iraq in
their revolutionary struggle for national liberation and democracy.
We are happy that the
Iraqi people have joined the ranks of the revolutionary people of the world who
are waging armed struggle against imperialism and its local reactionary allies.
The armed revolution in one country helps the armed revolutions in other
countries. It is the most effective way for delivering lethal blows on
imperialism and local reaction.
The Global Day of
Action will also provide the opportunity to all the people to call attention to
and condemn US acts of aggression and intervention in various parts of the
world, including Palestine, Afghanistan, Turkey, Nepal, India, Philippines,
Korea, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Congo, Zimbabwe and so
on.
We hope that the
Global Day of Action will achieve resounding utmost success, expose the terrible
crimes against humanity perpetrated by the imperialists and their puppets,
isolate them and encourage the people of the world to wage all forms of struggle
and take power away from their oppressors and exploiters.
The imperialists are
becoming more and more aggressive and rapacious as the crisis of the world
capitalist system worsens. But the people in the imperialist countries and the
oppressed people in the semi colonies and dependent countries are increasingly
engaged in resistance and are raising their revolutionary consciousness and
militancy for the great battles and great victories in the horizon.
