May 23, the
historic Naxalbari day again comes before us. The path of Naxalbari’s protracted
peoples’ war is steadily advancing in many countries of South Asia. The Nepal
revolutionary movement has now entered its strategic offensive phase and is
preparing the masses for further advancement to win the war by overthrowing the
monarchy of Nepal. Whereas in India, however, the struggle is still in the
strategically defensive phase. The MCCI and the CPI (ML)(PW) are establishing
Revolutionary People’s Committees in their guerrilla zones and guerrilla bases,
in a vast area of Andhra Pradesh, Dandakaranyam, Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa.
These are executing the role of an embryonic form of New Democratic rule. The
other countries of South Asia too are gradually trying to consolidate their
achievements.
CCOMPOSA a forum
of South Asian Communist revolutionaries is steadily consolidating and trying to
develop mass movements against the common enemy, i.e. Indian Expansionism, the
world imperialist system, particularly US imperialism, the No. 1 enemy of the
world people; and to overthrow the existing system in the countries of South
Asia. After the formation of the CCOMPOSA unity among the struggling
forces of South Asia further increased. Ideological and Political unity, a
common understanding on day to day issues, and unified struggles of the masses
for a socialist cause are improving amongst the revolutionary camp in South
Asia. On this historic May 23, we, the members of CCOMPOSA appeal to the
people of South Asia in particular, and the people of the world in general, to
advance the struggle against feudalism and imperialism to overthrow the existing
system itself.
Today Revisionism is
the main danger in the arena of world proletariat Movement, where a consistent
fight against it is needed, and upholding Marxism-Leninism-Maoism is the only
weapon in the hands of the masses. So, on this historic day once again we are
pledging to advance the struggle in every country of South Asia. Everyday a
number of heroic fighters are sacrificing their lives in the resistance struggle
against the rulers of these respective countries. We pay Red Homage to the known
and unknown martyrs of the Naxalbari path in South Asia. And to fulfill the
dreams of the martyrs we will fight till the end.
Today the world
situation is changing rapidly. US imperialism attacked Afghanistan and has now
committed a war of aggression on Iraq and has seized that country. Day in and
day out it has been attacking this country or that country on one pretext or the
other. It compels the rulers of various countries of the world to accept its
supremacy and to support its war policy to conquer the world. Sovereignty of the
country, interests of the people, self-respect of the countrymen, parliamentary
institutions of the country are all surrendered to the interests of American
imperialism. But the people of the world are constantly protesting against the
war of aggression by the US and UK, in various forms. After a gap of three
decades people took to the streets in their millions, particularly in the
capitalist countries, in support of world peace and against war.
In this
Sub-Continent, US imperialism is intervening very much. Already it is dictating
to the Musharaf and Vajpayee govts. And it has now entered into Nepal to curb
the movements led by the CPN (M). On this historic day it is the duty for us to
advance the struggle against the US, which is increasingly getting involved in
the affairs of our own countries. The rulers have already mortgaged our people’s
lives to imperialist exploitation and intervention. So, now we have to fight
with iron determination, along the path of Naxalbari, to seize political power
through the barrel of a gun. It is high time for us to intensify the mass
struggles and to consolidate the Party, Army, and UF in all the countries of
South Asia.
Naxalbari is the only
path to follow and win state power.
