20th Dec. 2001. 8 in
the morning. PGA platoon of CPI(ML)[PW] triggered a landmine blast on
Garhwa-chiniya road in deep forest near Tasrar village 3 km from chiniya out
post and 30 km from district headquarter of Jharkhand state in which 2
CRPF constables and a Subedar Major died on the spot while a constable of
JMP(Jharkhand military police) died in hospital during treatment. One CRPF and 2
JMP constable was injured in this incident. An encounter also occurred between
CRPF and PGA. But PGA retreated safely.
4’o clock evening on
26th of Dec.2001. PGA has triggered another landmine and blown a police vehicle
near Musharwababa near in Hanuman ghati of Bhaganpur ps of Kaimur district of
Bihar. 14 police personnel boarded on vehicle in which 3 constable including a
hawaldar , died on the spot and 11 injured in which 3 of them stated to be
critical condition. In this ambush PGA seized 13 – 303 rifles, 650 rounds of
ammunition. All these are in protest of black law POTO and the ongoing
police repression in Bihar-Jharkhand areas.
