STATEMENTS BY SEVERAL MARXIST-LENINIST PARTIES CONDEMNING THE COLD-BLOODED MURDER OF THE LEADERS OF INDIAN REVOLUTION HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY THE PEOPLE'S MARCH WITH REQUEST TO PUBLISH THEM. WE ARE PUBLISHING BELOW SOME OF THESE STATEMENTS. — EDITORIAL BOARD

TO CENTRAL COMMITTEE, COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA (MARXIST-LENINIST)(PEOPLE'S WAR) FROM COMMITTEE OF THE REVOLUTIONARY INTERNATIONALIST MOVEMENT.

 Dear Comrades,

It was with great grief that our Committee has learned of the loss of Comrade Nalla Adi Reddy (Shyam), Yerramreddy Santosh Reddy (Mahesh) and Seelam Naresh (Murali) at the hands of the reactionary ruling classes of India As members of the Central Committee of your Party, all three of these comrades had played a leading role in the advances of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (People's War). Their loss saddens all genuine communists and revolutionaries throughout the world as well as in India.

The murder of these comrades, after being captured by the enemy hundreds of kilometers away from where their bodies were deposited, comes on top of the killings of hundreds of other leaders, members and supporters of the CPIML (People's War) over the last few years. In this latest case as in so many others, the authorities have tried to cover cowardly murders of unarmed prisoners as "encounter killings". In India and abroad, revolutionary and progressive forces are exposing and condemning this dastradly act.

You have aroused millions of the oppressed masses in wide areas of India and shown that "it is right to rebel” and that only through people's war will it be possible to defeat the powerful enemies of imperialism, feudalism bureaucrat capitalism. Your Party has based itself upon the proletarian ideology developed by Marx, Lenin and Mao and is fighting to carry out the New Democratic Revolution in India as part of the world proletarian revolution, 'whose goal is communism. For these reasons the reactionary Indian state lashes out in vicious fury against CPIML(People's War). But no amount of terror or brutality will save the reactionary classes from their doom.

Comrades, despite these bitter losses our Committee and the Parties and organisations of RIM are confident that your Party will turn grief into strength and further advance the cause of proletariat and the oppressed masses in your country. The sacrifices of Come Adi Reddy, Comrade Santosh Reddy and Comrade Naresh will be avenged by the ultimate defeat of the reactionary rulling classes

STATEMENT OF THE WORKERS PARTY OF NEW ZEALAND TO CENTRAL COMMITTEE CPI(ML) PW

Dear Comrades,

It was with great sadness and anger that we learned a few days ago of the brutal torture and murder of the three Central Committee members Com. Nalla Adi Reddy (Shaym), Com. Santosh Reddy (Mahesh) and Com. Seelam Naresh (Murali) by the AP police on December 1.

The fascist nature of the refime is increasingly evident as the rulling classes struggle to maintain their rotten, exploiting society. The tremendous bravery of your party's leadership and rank-and-file is and inspiration to our party. We are also finding among our contacts growing interest in the development of the People's War in India. The bourgeois media suppresses nearly all news of the People's war, so The Spark, and reproductions of People's Mardi, are the only source of information for New Zealanders. We will do what we can to publialse the vents and will send letters of condemnation to the authorities in India.

We understand that the murder of these cadres is a serious loss but we do not doubt that others will step forward to join the struggle.

We pay homage to the fine revolutionary leaders whose deaths are 'weightier than Mount Tai'.

With condolences and revolutionary greeting,

Daphna Whitmore

Letter to his Excellency President of India From Worker’s Party Of Belgium

Brusseis, 7 December 1999

Mr. President,

Following the news, the Worker's Party of Belgium learned that three leaders of CPI(ML) Peoples War, Known as popular leader of mass movement, were brutally murdered in a covert operation on the second of December, 1999. They are Shyam Alias Nalla Adireddy, Mahesh alias Shantosh Reddy and Murali alias Seelam Naresh. The identity of the fourth person killed along with these leaders is not known as the Director General of Police (DOP) of Andhra Pradesh H.J. Dora who seems to be the key functionary in carrying out these political assassinations, has not declared his name yet, as far as we know.

The DGP has announced that these top leaders were killed in a fierce encounter with the police at Koyvuru forest of Tadicherla mandal of Karimnagar district in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday (on 2nd December). In contradiction, it seems that these three leaders were picked up by a team of intelligence officers from a house in Bangalore in the night of 1st December, as soon as the four reached the house and killed on the spot with out giving them anytime. Later, by morning their bodies seem to have been shifted in an AP Government helicopter secretly before dawn of 2nd December to the forest area in Karimnagar district in Andhra Pradesh.

The cowardly act of killing prominent political leaders of revolutionary movement of India shows that the Indian rulling classes are frightened of the CPI(ML) Peoples war alternative politics.

Following the news, it seems that these veteran leaders of CPI(ML) Peoples War were killed through the conspiracy hatched by the Central Home Minister L. K. Advani and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu in close association with the DGP of Andhra Pradesh H J Dora.

Killing of leaders of Mass movement cannot end the movement!

The Worker's Party of Belgium strongly condems the killing of the leaders of CPI(ML) Peoples War.

We demand that an enquiry concerning the despicable killing be ordered. We will inform the Belgian population about this fascist action perpetrated in India under the rule of your government.

Yours sincerely,

Jean Pestieau
