Joint Resolution of the South Asian Parties
and Organizations of the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement
With a deep appreciation
of the role that the Peoples War led by the Communist Party of Peru
has played over the last fifteen years as a beacon to the proletariat
and the oppressed people of the world and a living proof of the
vitality of our ideology of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, the parties
and organizations participating in the Revolutionary Internationalist
Movement in the South Asian region have taken up a serious and profound
discussion of the issues involved in the two-line struggle in the
Communist Party of Peru and the Call issued by the Committee of
RIM to "Rally to the Defence of Our Red Flag Flying in Peru".
On the basis of this
study and discussion we, the undersigned parties and organizations
of this region participating in the RIM, endorse that:
"RIM rejects the Right
Opportunist Line of negotiating peace accords to end the Peoples
War in Peru."
"RIM reaffirms its
full support for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of
Peru and the heroic Peoples War that they are leading."
In this occasion, we
also reaffirm our endorsement of the call issued by the Committee
of RIM to "Rally to the Defence of Our Red Flag Flying in Peru".
Furthermore, the undersAigned
parties and organisations Call upon all Marxist-Leninist-Maoist
organisations, revolutionary and progressive forces and individuals
in South Asia to learn from the lessons of the two-line struggle
in Peru and to join together with the Revolutionary Internationalist
Movement (RIM) in a forceful campaign to support the Peoples War
in Peru being carried forward under the leadership of the PCP. We
reaffirm our commitment to the ongoing battle to Defend the Life
of Chairman Gonzalo and Break the Isolation.
